Have your say on the draft ERP2 consultation

Thank you to our members who participated in our ERP2 workshop. We have now circulated the draft document to members for review, and we are seeking text changes and comments by COB Monday 5 August. This is a great opportunity to feed into the next ERP, so we encourage members to have their say. If you didn’t receive this email and believe you should have, let us know.

CCC shares first emissions reduction progress and monitoring report

The Climate Change Commission has released its first report monitoring Aotearoa New Zealand's progress towards meeting its emissions reduction budget and targets, as well as how well the current policies and plans set the country up to meet its climate goals. Read the full report here.

   

Fonterra's climate targets validated by SBTi

Fonterra's climate targets have been validated by the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi), meaning they are aligned to the Paris Agreement to limit warming to 1.5°C. Last year Fonterra set a new on farm emissions reduction target and increased its scope 1 and 2 targets and has since been working on the validation of these targets by SBTi.
