Last week, we hosted Jennifer Garvey Berger, Founder and CEO of Cultivating Leadership, at Deloitte to launch SBC as the hub for the Inner Development Goals (IDG) for businesses in Aotearoa New Zealand. IDGs are a new approach to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), cofounded by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Lion installs solar on New Zealand’s largest brewery | Lion NZ has partnered with Meridian Energy, Reid Technology and Solar Vision to install one of the largest rooftop solar arrays in the country at Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest brewery. The project is targeting completion in April and is being funded through a Power Purchase Agreement with Meridian. | | | |

Beca has moved its global headquarters into a new 6 Green Star building in Auckland's Wynyard Quarter. The move allows Beca to enhance the positive impact it can have on the environment and communities it operates in. Mercury, Minister break ground on Northland's first wind farm | Mercury Chief Executive Stew Hamilton and Energy Minister Simon Watts ceremoniously broke the ground of the $287 million Kaiwaikawe Wind Farm, near Dargaville. The 77MW (221GWh p.a.) wind farm, which is Northland’s first, will generate enough renewable electricity to power about 27,000 homes - equivalent to powering the Far North. | | | |
