At this breakfast we will explore both these topics. Topics include wellbeing, capability development, remuneration, diversity, education, job satisfaction and more. 

Join us at our next quarterly Thriving People networking event in Auckland. The session will build on the recommendations from our 2023 flagship report by bringing you the latest global thinking from Deloitte’s recently published Global Human Capital Trends Report, and specifically the global emergence of embracing human sustainability. Most importantly, it’s an opportunity to connect, kōrero and enjoy some light refreshments with your peers leading the charge on social sustainability from across the SBC membership as we continue to build a community of practice and collective impact. Taking action on sustainability can be especially challenging during a time of fiscal constraints. SBC has established a community of practice to share good practice on this topic. At our second hui Dawn Baggaley (Group Sustainability Manager, NZ Post) will share NZ Post’s take on what covid taught us about balancing short- and long-term crises. Register for one or all of the upcoming sessions below. This event is open to SBC members only.

The conference will build on te ao Māori perspectives and knowledge. It will profile international and national experts and politicians. We will run informative and interactive workshops on emerging issues. We will pool our collective wisdom on the key challenges we face: climate, oceans, resource management, freshwater, conservation, energy and biodiversity. EDS’s 2024 conference will dig deeply into the twin challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss, what is at stake for the nation, and where the solutions lie.
